Fuzzer was years In the making even if I didn’t really start thinking about it until late 2025. All my years playing in bands, working in the film industry, and just loving niche artists informed this passionate feeling that more of these wonderful people deserve to be written about and celebrated.

There are so many great artists/art pieces out there, and Fuzzer is a great excuse to share them with fellow fans, while also exploring my other interest: magazines.

I always enjoyed magazines as a kid. I remember passionately reading issue after issue of Goalies World, and falling in love with other magazines like Readers Digest, Writers Digest and Nickelodeon Magazine. Despite this, I never thought much about writing for one, let alone making one.

But as I grew up in this internet age, I found myself less attracted to the “screen heavy” world and drawn towards the old ways of physical media. Just the idea of writing and designing something that wasn’t tethered to Search Engine Optimization, view counts, and likes, seemed like so much fun and so punk rock.

Which isn’t to say I don’t like the internet — I mean this is a website I have put up, clearly I don’t mind it — but still I like the opportunity to write and design a magazine that is in it for the proverbial ‘love of the game’.

So this is Fuzzer. A wonderful mishmash of arts and cultural commentary. I hope you enjoy it and discover some cool bands, books, or artists that you might not have seen otherwise.

Oh, and before I go, I want to make it clear that while Fuzzer could not exist without the help of my family and friends, it definitely could not exist without one person in particular: Elizabeth Harrison. A writer, poet, and longtime friend, Elizabeth has given countless hours of her time for this passion project of mine and I'm so grateful to have her in my life.
